During this time, hormone levels \u2014 especially estrogen and progesterone \u2014 rise and fall, influencing not only our bodies but also our mood, appetite, energy levels, and even our skin.<\/p>\n<h5>The impact of the menstrual cycle on our body and mind<\/h5>\n<p>For many years, we were taught to see the menstrual cycle as something uncomfortable \u2014 that time of the month that comes with pain, bloating, and bad moods.<\/p>\n<p>But the menstrual cycle is much more than that: it reflects our health, our energy, and even our emotional state.
